First album for Badlabecques

Jersey's Jèrriais-singing pop-folk band, Badlabecques, are launching their first album.

They went down a storm at the summer Folklore festival, now Jersey's Jèrriais-singing pop-folk band, Badlabecques, are launching their first album. They'll be in the in the Royal Square on Friday 28th September for a show marking the anniversary of the 1769 Jersey Corn Riot.

Bean crock and other local dishes are on the menu. Badlabecques take to the stage as a nine-piece band at around 7:30pm.

The aim of the event is to bring together the whole community to celebrate the band's debut album. It features traditional and contemporary folk songs with upbeat pop and folk influences from around the world.
