Des patholes et des pliaichesD'la littéthatuthe en Ville pouor la Fête de St Hélier!

A Jèrriais literature trail around Town all week: find posters with extracts of poetry and prose (along with parallel English translation) displayed at or near places referred to in the texts. These include: the 1900 riots in French Lane; the Jersey Banking Company collapse at NatWest in New Cut; the tobacconist's in King Street; cider at the apple crusher; haggling at the Market; tea and taxes at Cooper's; shopping at de Gruchy's; Noël and Porter at BHS; the cattle market at Minden Place....

You can download copies of all the posters here, and there's an explanatory leaflet to download here.
