Des langues et des noes - Titbits

The word "nanci-ouilci" quoted in this post is, we assume, a version of "linsey-woolsey" (definition from Wikipedia).

The mystery word djodrins in the same text, on the other hand, has caused headscratching and d'la reunminn'nie. It crops up in a number of texts by Philippe Le Sueur Mourant and is evidently some sort of needlework technique, but whether it's ruffs, pleats, tucks, smocking or something else is unclear. All suggestions gratefully received.
