Acouo eune fais nou propose en Angliétèrre eune compétition d'nomm'thie d'manniéthes dé criatuthes tch'ont un nom en Latîn mais n'en ont pon en Angliais. Ch'est bein seu qu'i' n'en ont pon en Jèrriais nitout. Mais s'nou-s'est pouor înventer des noms en Angliais, nou pouôrrait bein en înventer en Jèrriais (j'en fînmes dé même l'année pâssée)! J'y avons reunminné un mio, et né v'chîn tchiques idées. Tch'est qu'ous en pensez?

Here again this year is the competition organised by Natural England and The Guardian to find vernacular names for lesser-known species. Since we have our own worthy vernacular, we've had some fun thinking up Jèrriais names for the creatures in question (as we did last year). Comments and alternatives welcome!
