Want to sing some songs in Jèrriais? La Société Jersiaise in co-operation with Jersey Heritage are launching some song sessions to help people with pronunciation of Jèrriais songs. Musical ability is not required, just enough enthusiasm about having a sing-song in Jèrriais. If you are interested, we'll be launching in February, initially with alternating fortnightly Monday & Wednesday after-work sessions in the Arthur Mourant room. Depending on what day suits people we'll consider options for alternative days/timing after 3 months. No commitment required; just drop in on a Monday or Wednesday as convenient (or even both if you want to). We'll see which dates might suit people in future to follow on from these intial sessions.
