Coumme tchi dgiâtre dithe "hélicoptéthe" en Êcôssais? - How the devil do you say "helicopter" in Scottish Gaelic?

Police Scotland Eurocopter EC135T2 G-SPHU

There's recently been some criticism of Police Scotland for having their logo in Scottish Gaelic on a helicopter. There has even been mockery by asking how you say helicopter in Scottish Gaelic. As it happens that's simply ridiculous. The word helicopter of course is Greek. Here's some nonsense about the question; how many poetic ways of calling a helicopter in Jèrriais can you discover in this poem?

V'là douochement l'ail'tonn'rêsse à touothâle prend l'avo;

tchi bourdonne amont l'dictionnaithe atout l'ronnais

I might not know "helicopter", but I do know how to say "hovercraft" in Scots Gaelic (and I also know how to say that it's full of eels, but that's another story)

It was Omniglot that taught me: "Tha mo bhata-foluaimen loma-lan easgannan" (forgive missing accents).
