Corrigeux d'êcrithie - Jèrriais spellchecker

corrigeux d'êcrithie a 'té justément mîns à jour auve un tas d'conjudgaisons d'vèrbes et tout chenna.

The Jèrriais spellchecker file has been greatly expanded with very many complete verb conjugations. Previously, the spellchecker recognised infinitives as given in the dictionaries but not all tenses, moods and variant forms. It's still not 100% for all verbs, but it's getting there. The instructions have also been updated as subsequent Wndows upgrades had rendered the previous simple instructions inadequate. Installation is still quite simple for Word, etc. but finding the right folder in one's personal installation of Windows is more roundabout than it was. (For installation for Firefox, see also "Spellchecker for Firefox")

How to install the Jèrriais spellchecker for MS Word, MS Publisher, MS Office etc.
1:

Download and save the file in the following location:

Boot_Drive\Users\your_user_name\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\UProof

or, depending on your system setup,

Boot_Drive\Documents and Settings\your_user_name\Application Data\Microsoft\Proof

2:

In Word 2003 and in earlier versions of Word, start Word on the computer to which you copied the custom dictionary, and then click Options on the Tools menu.
In Word 2007, click the Microsoft Office Button, and then click Word Options.
In Word 2010, click File, and then click Options.

3:

In Word 2003 and in earlier versions of Word, click the Spelling & Grammar tab, and then click Custom Dictionaries.
In Word 2007 and Word 2010, click Proofing, and then click Custom Dictionaries under When correcting spelling in Microsoft Office programs.
If you copied the dictionary to the UProof or Proof folder under your own user name, you should see the dictionary in the Dictionary list. To enable the dictionary and to use it for spelling checker functionality, click to select the check box next to the dictionary name.

Your spellchecker is now installed!
