Dictionary addenda

paralîsé = paralysed

Continuing with the reading of George d'La Forge, we've come across this form. The dictionary gives verb paralyser, with a short vowel, but it seems George d'La Forge felt the vowel was long. Any comments on whether the vowel is short or long for you (and that goes for analyser/annalîser as well) are welcome.
