Y'étha deux séthées d'compétitions en Jèrriais pouor les grandes pèrsonnes - les mousses gângnants présent'tont lus pièches Sanm'di au sé pouor l'audienche.

Very good performances from the boys and girls today at the Eisteddfod - the Jèrriais competitions are being held this year at Saint Ouen. Prizes and certificates were awarded according to the marking, and the cup for choral speaking was won by the Jersey College for Girls team. There are two evenings of adult competitions to come, and winning juniors will have a chance to perform their successful pieces for the audience on Saturday evening.
