On BBC Radio Jersey on Thursday, Sara Palmer made the connection between the Occupation-related texts in The Toad and the Donkey and Senator Terry Le Main's remarks about the importance of Jèrriais as a means of free expression during the Occupation. Senator Le Main was the States Member who made the Liberation address at the traditional special sitting of the States of Jersey on Liberation Day this year.
