Un rat dans la gorge


Malheutheusement, les c'mîns d'la Ville ont 'té sans poésies (liues) aniet, mais les poésies en affiches sont acouo là pouor l'restant d'la s'maine.

Un rat dans la gorge a gatté le liéthie d'poésie à l'entou des gattes. Ch'n'est pon l'rîncliot mais raîque un rat.

Auve du myi et du jus d'orange, nou-s'espéthe aller sus l'mus d'main et pouver hueûler des poésies!

Jèrriais speakers don't get frogs (or even crapauds) in the throat, but rats. Croakiness of whatever species has, however, unfortunately meant the calling-off of today's poetry in the streets - but at least the weather's fine enough to enjoy the displayed poetry posters and other info.

With the help of honey and orange juice, the rat may be sufficiently vanquished to enable tomorrow's session to go ahead.
