- The “Hivernales” winter festival, from 1st December to 15th January 2012, in Falaise
- An Exhibition of Edvard Munch's paintings, from 5th November to 22nd January 2012, in the Musee des Beaux Arts in Caen
- A nativity show at the end of December, in St Hilaire du Harcouet
- The opening of the new IKEA shop in Caen
