Fancy learning lots more Jèrriais? We have a vacancy for a Jèrriais
Language Promotion Officer. The postholder will develop their knowledge of
Jèrriais and share their knowledge. They will promote and facilitate the use of
Jèrriais, assisting colleagues across JH, the Jèrriais teaching service and
Government in sourcing information and translations. They will research and
share information about Jersey’s intangible heritage and will act as a link
across similar language groups.
This is a great opportunity for someone interested in our native
language and intangible heritage to proactively work towards promoting and
celebrating that heritage.
