An exciting opportunity has arisen for a language teacher looking for a unique challenge to teach Jèrriais, Jersey’s native language. Working closely with Le Don Balleine and the Department for Economic Development, Tourism, Sport and culture (DfEDTSC), the Education Department is seeking enthusiastic teachers with a love of languages to join the team at L'Office du Jèrriais.

Building upon the successes already achieved, Education is engaged in a partnership with Le Don Balleine in order to find a dynamic and skilled teacher to help promote and teach Jèrriais and an understanding of Jersey culture within schools and the wider community.
