-age: masculine or feminine?

Nearly all Jèrriais nouns ending in -age are masculine. There are a very small number of feminine nouns ending in -age:

• la cage = the cage
• l'ôrage = thunder
• la rage = rage; rabies

la page v. lé page:

• eune page is a page (of a book)
• un page is a pageboy

la nage v. lé nage

• la nage is the action of rowing or swimming
• lé nage is the distance rowed or swum

l'âge = the age
may be either masculine or feminine
