Lettre ès Pathents entouor nos êvénements d'Noué - Letter to Parents about our Christmas events

Dear Parent,

CHRISTMAS EVENTS 2013

Our annual Christmas charity event is a fun occasion so please come and help us to raise money! Children love singing carols and shaking the collection bucket.

We will be singing carols in Jèrriais at 6.00 p.m. on Thursday 5th December between lé tou d'preinseu (the apple-crusher) and Marks & Spencer in King Street in support of the Joint Christmas Appeal and La Fête Nouormande 2014. If it helps you, the children can stay to sing with us while you do some shopping - we will perform for around half an hour. Please wrap them up warm! There will be warm drinks and nibbles afterwards (plus more informal carols) in the upstairs Committee Room at the Town Hall. In the event of torrential rain or snow, we will transfer the entire event to the Town Hall – but fingers crossed for good weather!

Students and their families are also invited to attend the annual Christmas Service in Jèrriais. It is organised by L’Assembliée d’Jèrriais and takes place at St. Andrews Church, First Tower, on Saturday 7th December at 6.30 p.m. It lasts for less than an hour.

Next term, Pallion lessons will restart from 13th January.

Bouôn Noué dé Tony, Geraint, Colin, fRANÇOIS et RALPH !
